Questions You Should Ask Wedding Hotels Before Making Any Reservations

Wedding Vows

There are some really amazing wedding hotels in England, Scotland, and Wales. Whether you want to have an intimate ceremony or a large, elaborate wedding, you can find the perfect hotel for your special day. Some boutique hotels are designed exclusively for wedding celebrations and honeymoons. Imagine having your wedding at a venue where everything you could ever need, ranging from linens and fine china to the caterer and decorations is already in place.

Since the facility has everything you need, you won’t have to spend a bunch of money on caterers and decorators. And, since your wedding will take place at a nice hotel, you won’t have to go anywhere else for your honeymoon! Why not have the ceremony, reception, and honeymoon all at the same establishment?

The only thing you really need to worry about is which establishment to choose. There are a variety of wedding hotels in the UK, and not all of them are equal. Some will allow you to book out the entire hotel for your special day, while others will still rent out their rooms to other customers.

• Here are some questions you need to ask before selecting your hotel:
• How many weddings have been held here?
• How many guests can your establishment hold?
• How long have you been offering accommodations for weddings?
• Do you offer discounts for ordering a large number of rooms?
• Do you offer transportation services for the wedding guests?
• Do you offer photography services?
• Are you licensed for weddings?
• Are meals included?
• Can you offer any guarantees?
• What additional fees might I be charged?

Some wedding hotels offer more services than others. Ask for a written contract of what the hotel will offer so that you will know what you will be responsible for. If you can, visit some hotels in person to see if they truly give off romantic vibes. If you can’t visit any of them in person, then at least look at photos online.

You should consider your own tastes when selecting a hotel. Do you want a Victorian wedding? An old country wedding? Contemporary wedding? Whether you want a traditional wedding in the country or a modern wedding in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, etc…, you have a variety of wedding hotels from which you can choose.

It’s also important to ask ahead of time about cancellation policies. If something happens and you have to cancel, will you be able to receive a refund? Be sure that you understand everything mentioned in the contract, just in case you have to make any last minute changes.

There are many stunning and luxurious hotels that are perfect wedding hotels or venues for your big day.
